TUTORIAL 7: CROCHET CLUTCH

Formerly, I never make a crochet except for bolero and cardigan and dress. I was never interested in making crochet besides clothes. But, because I wa so slow, even super tiny bolero took a long time so often my project had to be stopped due to saturation. My worst experience was making baby clothes. Imagine this, starting from I was pregnant until my son was nearly 3 years, not a piece of clothing was so. And because it is a project of my baby, then I was bought a thread which the price pretty expensive for me. As a result, I hide the thread away so I was not upset to see it sitting without form. Hahaha..

But since I successfully make sandals crochet with super fast and fun process, it opened my eyes that there is many other crochet projects I can create. Again, because I was love to make a bags, I try to make crochet bag. I decided to make a small one so I can finish it before saturated struck. Actually this thread should be use for making crochet boot as I have plan to. But my husband say that the color makes my feet were already black from nature to be more black from before. So I change my plan. And once again I do not regret. The color is more suitable for bags. The impression is so elegant.

Because I have never made a bag from crochet, then I just conjecture the process. Especially for the lining. But thank God,it work that way. Next, I will learned about this but for this time the results are good enough for me ..

The way that I use is the way that I normally use to make bags from ordinary fabric. So, first I make crochet and used it as a "fabric". I hope the diagram can explain it well, but if not let me know so I can improve it later.

Then, I sew the lining. I sewing this by hand. For the liningnya I added batting in order to make shape. I also sew the section that will be fold to make it easy when folded.
